Surface: hardpack.
This trail is a short introduction to the trails of Swinley forest for those wishing to get away from the fire roads, it has a hard pack surface so is good to ride year round, is in quite narrow with some steeper areas but no obstacles that will require assistance.
The surface can be slippery when the surface is wet.
This is a good start for those new to A-MTB riding as it has many features such as small berms and off camber sections, we would suggest having a support rider with you for the first time especially if you are new to a-MTB riding.
